Pushpa 2: Allu Arjun clarifies on rumors

For a while now, we have been hearing several reports pertaining to Allu Arjun's Pushpa duology. It was heard that the makers of Pushpa have decided to drop the idea of filming the second part of Pushpa.
But cut to now, Allu Arjun has clarified about Pushpa 2 and he has dropped an affirmative update on the second installment of the Sukumar directorial.
"Pushpa 2 will definitely happen. The project will be set on a lavish scale and it will be bigger than the first part. We have the script ready with us and the filming will commence early next year. Pushpa: The Rule will be bigger and grander than Pushpa: The Rise," Allu Arjun said.
Previously, Sukumar made a similar comment as he stated that the second installment of Pushpa will be a big budget action drama that will have much more well established characters.
The filming for Pushpa: The Rule will commence next January or February and it will be released in theatres towards the end of 2022.
