The film secured a super hit status in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam speaking states. The result is Kannada was also decent and it was fantastic in the Nizam area. But the film ended up in losses in the Andhra & Ceeded region. There is a talk that the film failed to achieve breakeven status in the overseas market too. The makers sold the film for good profits but the Hindi version brought them unexpected money.

Since 'Pushpa – The Rise' became successful, the demand of the second part in the North market increased massively. The makers are getting wonderful offers and they decided to help the buyers who got losses as per sources. As the film was bought by regular buyers, the makers of 'Pushpa' decided to return 50% of the lost money says trusted reports.
