Pushpa's rampage continues on small screens with high TRPs

Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise went on a strong run at the box office despite the weak reviews. The film fared surprisingly well in the Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi markets. The film has continued its good form on the small screens as well.
As per the latest reports, Pushpa has clocked a very impressive 22.5 TRP ratings from its television premieres.
While Ala Vaikunthapurramulo still stands as the record holder in Allu Arjun's career with over 29 TRP ratings, Pushpa, being a raw and rustic entertainer has performed exceptionally well with 22.5 TRPs.
It appears to be that the strong box office performance of Pushpa has rubbed into its television premieres and hence the solid TRPs for the Sukumar directorial.
Pushpa: The Rise is now next only to Ala Vaikunthapurramulo and Sarileru Neekevvaru, when it comes to TRPs. The film has posted a surprisingly good number following its television premieres - 22.5 rating points.
Now, the stage is set for the commencement of the second part of Pushpa. The filming for Pushpa: The Rule will commence in the next couple of months. Thanks to the blockbuster success of the first part, the makers are planning to spend big bucks o nthe second part.
