PV Narasimha Rao, a Telugu Man, who became the 10th Prime Minister of India post the assassination of Rahul Gandhi in the early 90s. He was also the 4th Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh.
Economists still boast about the reforms brought by PV Narasimha Rao during his tenure as Prime Minister. India achieved great progress because of wise and brave moves such as appointing Manmohan Singh as the Finance Minister.
Congress Party hasn't given the respect PV deserves though he is a Congressman who has done great service to his country. The National Party threw entire blame on PV after the Babri Masjid demolition and made him a scapegoat. Post his death, Congress Leadership didn't allow the mortal remains to reach the party office and even the cremation wasn't done properly. Does someone like PV deserve it?
