PV Sindhu to set up Badminton Training Academy in Vizag

Sindhu and her family members had a Darshan of the presiding deity during the early hours under the VIP section and offered prayers to Srivaru.
After completion of the prayer formalities, PV Sindhu addressed the media. During her interaction, Sindhu told the reporters that she will start the Badminton academy in Vizag soon.
Talking about her plans to set up a Badminton academy in Vizag,Sindhu said the academy will encourage the youth to enter sports.
As there is no required encouragement, the youth is lagging behind in terms of sports. The academy will encourage the youth, Sindhu said.
PV Sindhu scripted history by becoming the one and only female athlete from India to bag medals at two consecutive Olympic events.
After her historic win, the Andhra Pradesh government had awarded a cash price of Rs 30 lakh along with 2 acres of land in Vizag. The land was given for setting up an academy.
