'Dasari is like Ambedkar for Film Industry'

Senior Actor R Narayana Murthy got emotional after the demise of his mentor Dasari Narayana Rao.
Speaking to media after watching the mortal remains of Dasari, R Narayana Murthy said: 'Just alike they say before christ & after christ, People should talk about Before Dasari-After Dasari. Such is his stature! He is like an Ambedkar for Film Industry. Dasari encouraged everybody irrespective of caste, creed and religion. He has given life to countless people in Film Industry. May his soul rest in peace!'.
Film Career of Dasari began as Assistant Director in Adurthi Subbarao's Camp. Even K Viswanath , K Balachandar and Raghavendra Rao worked as assistants for Mr.Subbarao. Dasari received National Awards for Megha Sandesam & Kante Koothurne Kanali. Megha Sandesam was screened as Cannes, Chicago and Moscow Film Festivals. He was a recipient of 9 Nandi Awards.
