He attended Manikarnika press meet at Hyderabad along with Telangana Cultural Secretary, Mamidi Harikrishna. The multifaceted actor said, "Kangana being a girl, achieved lot more than many men and I am proud of it."
He continued to say, "Manikarnika is not a simple name, there is a country's emotional history behind it and I am happy that Telugu people have worked for this awesome project."
He praised writer Vijayendra Prasad saying that he is the best among the writers today and class apart as well.
He wished the movie to be a huge success and remarked that Vijayendra Prasad is not just a writer but a National Treasure!
