Raashi Khanna claims carving a niche for herself in Telugu Film Industry makes her feel proud.
The 'Jil' Actress who made Hyderabad her permanent home by buying a property here says, 'Never expected Telugu audience will accept me so well as neither I knew the language nor aware of cultural difference. Actually, I didn't even visit Hyderabad prior to the shoot of 'Oohalu Gusagusalaade'. Its just for the shoot of my debut movie, I came here'.
Before her launch, Raashi Khanna had the perception that only plump heroines rule the roost down South. 'That's why I gained weight and looked chubby in my maiden project. Very soon, I learnt that its just a myth. Telugus were always willing to encourage talent. I have no plans to quit Telugu Film Industry,' discloses the beauty.
Other than Gopichand's 'Oxygen', Raashi Khanna have few other promising projects in the pipeline.
