Radha Not Happy Over Criticism On ;Radhe Shyam'!

After making a decent directorial debut with 'Jil' back in 2015, Radha Krishna Kumar came with his second film 'Radhe Shyam' in 2022. Since Prabhas gave him an offer, he stayed with 'UV Creations' and waited for the 'Darling' hero to complete his 'Baahubali' and 'Saaho'. 'Radhe Shyam' was in the making for the past three years and it has been postponed several times.
He made the film on a grand scale and brought the best out of his actors and technicians. The makers promoted it as a love story right from the beginning and they never showed any action part in the trailers. Being a Prabhas film, people expected something huge from this film but they watched an emotional love story in theatres which brought a mixed response.
While some people liked the film, a lot of others started bashing it on social media. Not just the regular audience but even critics blamed the film for not having commercial aspects. There is a lot of negativity around 'Radhe Shyam' and the director is evidently upset about it.
During one of his recent interactions with the media, he stated, "You go to a vegetarian hotel expecting them to serve chicken biriyani? We have always told this is a love story, but critics are bashing us saying there is no action in the movie. That makes any sense?" The collections are however picking up gradually and people are stepping into theatres now fully aware of what to expect.
It is getting good collections but it needs to get more in order to cross the safe zone. This epic love drama has Pooja Hegde playing the female lead named Prerna. Prabhas will be seen as a world-renowned palmist in this movie. This movie is produced under UV Creations, Gopi Krishna Arts and T-Series banners.
Manoj Paramahamsa is the cinematographer while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor for 'Radhe Shyam'. Justin Prabhakaran is the music composer for South Indian languages. A lot of actors including Murali Sharma, Sachin Kedkar, Priyadarshi, Sasha Chetri, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Bhagyashree, Krishnam Raju, Jagapathi Babu and others worked on this movie.
