Radhika Apte began hating South Film Industry like anything else after working for few projects here. So far, She acted in three Southern Films (Legend, Lion, Kabali).
Speaking about Sexism in Film Industry, Radhika Apte told working for the South Projects barring 'Kabali' have been a nightmare. 'While the Male Lead arrives to the sets at 9 AM, I was made to be at the shooting location 2 hours earlier. Such discrepancies could be seen only here,' she cries foul.
There are people who differ will the allegations levelled by Radhika Apte. They question why did she sign 'Lion' when she had such a bad experience while working for 'Legend'?
In addition, Krish himself disclosed Balakrishna would be on the set at 7'o Clock while shooting for 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' and because of him every unit member were punctual. What would be the reaction of the Dusky Siren for this statement by an acclaimed filmmaker?
Radhika Apte need to realize that Balakrishna is an elected public representative and the chairman of Basavatharakam Cancer Hospital. He mayn't have come to the sets on time once or twice because of other commitments. Why does she simply blame an Established Actor with great history and entire Southern Film Industry citing few reasons? It's the same South Cinema which offered her more respectable/meaningful roles than Bollywood. Radhika..Why don't you appreciate it?
