Radhika Apte feels India is ashamed of sexuality, physicality and human body. According to her, Anything that's related to human body and sexuality has become a problem in the country.

In her upcoming Bollywood flick 'Pad Man', A real life story of a man named Muruganantham who made affordable sanitary napkins upon seeing his wife's hardships and poor menstrual hygiene. Radhika Apte believes this movie would help people not to feel awkward about menstruation which is a natural process a woman goes through every month.

The 'Legend' Actress stresses the need to speak about Menstruation openly. 'The Indian Society and Upbringing in such that. One shouldn't feel awkward in touching the pad in front of people. It's high time we change it!,' she says.

First Look Poster of 'Pad Man' shows the image of a sanitary napkin. Radhika is finally happy to see such an issue is being discussed at a big level in Bollywood.
