AR Rahman After 2 Decades

Finally, the speculations which were doing rounds regarding Megastar Chiranjeevi film came true. The title of Chiru's latest film is not 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy'. They have finalised 'Sye Raa' title for the film. 'Narasimha Reddy' is the caption. They gave clarity on the technicians working on the film in the poster itself. But the most exciting name among the audience is undoubtedly AR Rahman.
It is known that there were some reports a month ago that Surender Reddy narrated the story to Rahman and convinced him to work for the film.. but people were skeptical whether Rahman will agree to work for this film or not. Because they have their own logic for not believing it. Rahman never worked for a Telugu film after he achieved a special image. He has worked for films like 'Palati Paurushan'.. 'Super Police', he scored background music for 'Nippu Ravva' in the initial days of his career. But he didn't work for any other film directed by a Telugu director later.
Even though he worked for 'Nani'.. 'Komaram Puli', these two films are directed by Tamil director SJ Suryah. In such a situation, we can say that 'Sye Raa' subject might have excited him.. that's the reason why he agreed to score music. On the other hand, legends like cinematographer Ravi Varman.. art director Rajeevan are working for the film. Even though several writers are working for the film, they have given title credits to Paruchuri Brothers who provided the basic story. The film unit has confirmed the huge star cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Kiccha Sudeep, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu in the film.
