Raising objections, three Petitions were filed against a film!

What will bother a filmmaker more than his film constantly attracting troubles and issues? A noted Actor-director is going through a tough phase as a few objections were raised against his film and petitions were filed in the court against the film.
Noted director Mahesh Manjrekar’s recent film Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Nay Koncha did not go well with a few people who are not happy with the film. A few petitions were filed in different courts against the controversial film.
The Marathi film had landed in a big controversy when a few objections were raised on the way the women and children were portrayed in the film. The petitions were filed seeking action against the director for making the film.
Holding the director responsible for the film, the petitioners sought action alleging that he had portrayed women and children in an objectionable manner. Three petitions were filed in different courts against this backdrop.
Out of the three petitions, two petitions will be heard by the respective courts this month. The petitioners are hoping that their concerns will be addressed by the court. The petitions were filed under the Indecent Representation of the Women Prohibition Act and other sections.
