Anil Ravipudi tasted success as Director with 'Patas' and 'Supreme'. In the third attempt, This Young Filmmaker choose the concept of blind man playing the protagonist. Mass Raja might be blind in 'Raja - The Great' but there is nothing he can't do.
Raviteja appears so slim but age is something that can't be hidden. In this movie, He is capable of tickling the funny bone, bashing the goons, romancing the heroines and touching the hearts using his sound sense. Mehreen looks good & even the pairing doesn't look odd at all.
Except for the fact that Hero is blind, 'Raja - The Great' appears to be a regular commercial entertainer. Why the Protagonist, who is blind, alone can save the Heroine is a mystery for now. A Comedian who supports the punches of Hero, Mother who pampers his Child, Rich Villain who wishes to kill Heroine and Bakra Cops reminds us of many masala films released in the past.
