Rajamouli Can Be Termed Unsuccessful In This Aspect!
X
India's ace filmmaker Rajamouli made his debut as an assistant to veteran director Raghavendar Rao. It was no looking back for him since then and he went onto to make one super hit after another. All of his movies were successful and he went to the next level as a filmmaker post 'Magadheera'. With 'Baahubali', he shattered all the existing records in India and claimed the top spot in the whole country.

But he is termed unsuccessful by some in one aspect. Rajamouli failed to launch his assistants as directors. Though some of them tried their luck no one turned out to be successful. Rajamouli's assistant director GR Krishna made a film called 'Iddari Lokam Okkate' with Raj Tarun but it was a flop.

Another one of his students Karuna Kumar made 'Drona' with Nithiin and it was also a failure. Trikoti made his debut with 'Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya' but it was unsuccessful which forced him to join Rajamouli's department once again. This shows that Rajamouli might not have failures but his assistants delivered only failures till date.

People who worked under the likes of Puri Jagannadh, Sukumar, Trivikram and VV Vinayak became successful directors now. We all know how Gopichand Malineni and Venky Kudumula turned out. They are one of the crazy directors right now. Harish Shankar and Parasuram worked under Puri Jagannadh and both of them are working with Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu respectively.

Sukumar launched Surya Pratap as a director with 'Kumari 21F' and gave him success. Now, Buchi Babu Sana scored a blockbuster with 'Uppena' and Sukumar turned producer for his student's film once again. While other star directors are succeeding in launching fresh and talented directors into Tollywood, Rajamouli definitely falls behind in this category.
