Lucky that we didn't sign Sridevi: Rajamouli

SS Rajamouli disclosed Ramyakrishna was the first choice to play Sivagami in 'Baahubali' franchise. He, however, decided to cast Sridevi eying the Hindi market but things didn't fall in place due to the unreasonable demands placed by the evergreen Actress.
Sridevi's Demands:
I) Rs 7 crore Remuneration
2) 5 Business Class Tickets whenever they travel between Hyderabad & Mumbai or any other city for the shoot.
3) An entire floor to be booked for her Family in the best hotel whenever she might be shooting.
4) Share in Profits
After Sridevi demanded share in profits, SS Rajamouli had the feeling that she is demanded too much than what she deserves and decided to cast Ramyakrishna. 'I feel lucky that Sridevi wasn't part of Baahubali. The film wouldn't have been like that had if she has done Sivagami's role. Sridevi is known settled performances and she don't even have a powerful voice. Whereas, Ramyakrishna have a terrific screen presence, voice and capable of delivering intense/power-packed performance'.
