'Baahubali' has become the biggest film ever made on Indian Cinema. Guess, How much was the creator of this Epic receive as Pay Package?
As per highly placed sources, Baahubali Producers took care of all the expenses of Rajamouli for the past 5 years. In addition, The Filmmaker would be receiving 1/3rd share in overall profits of 'Baahubali' franchise.
Pre-Release of 'Baahubali: The Beginning' is around Rs 200 crore for all four Indian Versions. Whereas, 'Baahubali 2' fetched the Producers Rs 438 crore through the sale of theatrical and satellite rights. Overall, Profit would be not less than Rs 200 crore for Part 1 & Part 2. So, Rajamouli would be receiving at least Rs 65 crore in the worst case.
If included the International Versions, The profits of 'Baahubali' franchise will be beyond anyone's expectations. China is a huge market & it's going to be the key.
