Bollywood waged a war against Censorship following 89 cuts suggested for 'Udta Punjab' for granting permission for its theatrical release.
SS Rajamouli who was in New Delhi on Thursday for receiving CNN-News 18 'Indian of the Year: Entertainment 2015' award responded the issue. He told that his sympathies lies with those filmmakers who were fighting the tough battle against objectionable Censor rules. 'How can 10 Members decide what is good for the whole Nation? The head of a family should decide what kind of films he or his family members should watch,' he opined.
After Bollywood director-cum-producer Anurag Kashyap decided to take on Censor Board chief Pahlaj Nihlani, A lot of prominent film personalities voiced their opinion supporting his views. Some of them didn't even hesitate to say Pahlaj Nihlani is unfit to be CBFC Chief.
