Rajamouli Steals The Spotlight From Other Pan-Indian Films!
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 Dec 2021 10:58 AM GMTWith no big Bollywood films releasing in the next few weeks barring 'Jersey', the entire focus of the North Indian audience is on pan-Indian films. The next couple of weeks will have big pan-Indian films like 'Pushpa', 'Radhe Shyam', 'RRR' and others hitting the big screens. While the team of 'Pushpa' and 'Radhe Shyam' were slowly building up the hype by revealing one song after the other, Rajamouli stole the limelight completely with just one trailer.
The ace director's magnum opus film 'RRR' which features NTR and Ram Charan playing the lead roles is made on a grand budget of over 400 crores. With this film being the immediate film of Rajamouli after 'Baahubali', there are a lot of expectations on this film and the star director managed to make everyone go crazy with just one trailer. They were spellbound by the visuals in the trailer and the sheer magnitude of the film swept everyone off their feet. The team of 'RRR' followed it up with back-to-back press meets in major cities including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru.
With all these promotions, the team completely took away the limelight from the other two pan-Indian releases. 'Pushpa' is releasing this weekend and there is no hype on this film in the North market. So is the case with 'Radhe Shyam' which is coming out on 14th January. The North audience seems to be heavily interested in 'RRR' more than the other two big films. Trade sources reveal that 'RRR' is the most-anticipated film and the Northern crowds are preferring Rajamouli's film. As we know, the multiplexes are the main source of income in Northern states and 'RRR' is standing way ahead of 'Pushpa' and 'Radhe Shyam' in terms of craze as per reports.
'Pushpa' is directed by Sukumar while Devi Sri Prasad composed the music. It is a rustic rural drama. On the other hand, 'RRR' is a fictional period drama set in the backdrop of the pre-Independence era. MM Keeravani is the music composer while Rajamouli directed it. Coming to 'Radhe Shyam', it is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar who made 'Jil' earlier. Justin Prabhakaran composed the music in the south and it is a complete love story.
