Rajamouli taking a huge risk with RRR?
By: Tupaki Desk | 13 March 2022 2:20 AM GMTRajamouli is one of the most accomplished filmmakers in Indian cinema. The entire Indian film industry is looking up towards his forthcoming film, RRR now and the stakes couldn't have been higher on the project.
The latest news is that Rajamouli is willing to take a huge risk with RRR but as it appears, the risk is worth taking. Here is story behind it.
As per reports, RRR will have paid premieres in the twin Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the 24th of this month. Apparently, the paid premieres will be commencing from 6 PM on the 24th of March, which is one day prior to the film's scheduled theatrical release - 25th March.
The paid premieres might sound lucrative as the ticket sales will fetch extra boost to the film's box office returns. But if the talk doesn't come out as desired, it can cast a negative spell on the opening day collections.
But Rajamouli is an experienced director and he will approve paid premieres idea only if he is fully confident about the film. Also, RRR is carrying unreal hype now and there is a positive buzz surrounding the film. So, Rajamouli is indeed taking huge risk with RRR but it is a calculated one.
