Its A Big Challenge For Star Kids
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Feb 2018 5:44 AM GMTStars encouraging their kids to take up acting profession is not an unusual phenomenon. Majority of the star kids will be usually heroes and the number of heroines among the star kids will be relatively less. In Bollywood, several star kids have entered films and achieved stardom as well. The trend is slowly catching up in Tollywood now.
Senior hero Rajasekhar's daughter Shivani is entering Telugu films with the remake of '2 States' movie. Shivani film debut confirmed last year itself but choosing the right script for the debut film took a long time. Shivani is saying that "Directors will hesitate approach the daughters of stars for heroine roles because they have apprehensions about how her parents will react. They will not be comfortable in narrating the story as well. This is the biggest challenge for a girl like me."
Speaking about her daughter Rajasekhar said that "I can't say no to my daughter's career choice. I still remember how I struggled when my father rejected my proposal taking up acting as my profession. So, I will never think of objecting my daughter's career choice and her dreams." It is known that Rajasekhar studied MBBS before venturing into films. Similarly, his daughter Shivani is also pursuing medicine.
Shivani is debuting with the remake of Bollywood film '2 States' starring Arjun Kapoor-Alia Bhatt. It is based on Chetan Bhagat's best-selling novel of the same name.
