There is no wrong in encouraging my daughters to act - Rajasekhar!
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 July 2017 8:17 AM GMTActor Rajasekhar's daughter, Shivani Rajasekhar has become the latest young sensation in Film Circles with her latest photoshoot and many producers are looking to launch her in the movies. Several have raised the debate if it is right to encourage daughters to become actresses as well.
In Telugu Cinema, normally actors introduce their sons as their heirs to forward their legacy in the acting profession but not many accept the same in the case of their daughters. Even fans have opposed such steps like in the case of Krishna's daughter Manjula and ANR's grand-daughter Supriya. But Rajasekhar supported his daughter Shivani whole heartedly with some sound advice.
"There is no wrong in letting our daughters do what they aspire. There is a lot of hypocrisy in our Industry. Many are OK with the shaking the leg with some other's kids and even look to play with their lives but when it comes their own children, especially, girls they should not even come into the open. Well, when my daughter expressed her desire to act, I gave her my consent and asked her to finish her graduation first and then take up acting as a hobby but not full time profession. Even my younger daughter wants to make it into acting and I will encourage her too", said Rajasekhar.
