Rajasekhar reveals some shocking facts!
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 July 2017 7:13 AM GMTActor Rajasekhar has earned a reputation for his acting as a short-tempered cop and also for his behaviour on sets. They are rumours that the actor doesn't show up on time for shooting. For this exact reason, director Teja has walked out of his film as per the rumour mills. Also, Teja offered a villain role in his movie to the actor but that did not work out.
Well, Rajasekhar who is known for being open about all the issues in his interviews reacted to those rumours. Rajasekhar said, "I have been approached by director Teja to act in a negative role. I liked the role and accepted to be a part of the movie. But in the final discussions, we both did not agree about the climax and we dropped the project. I was approached for the villain role in "Dhruva" too.
"Jeevitha got a call regarding the offer and I was ok with the character and wanted to do it. After few days, Surrender Reddy and NV prasad, the producer, called her and said, they are using some shots from Tamil as it is, so they have cast Aravind Swamy for the role in remake too. I would have acted in that movie otherwise. I have no apprehensions to play negative. The writer of next Balakrishna movie also suggested my name for villain role to director K.S.Ravi Kumar. Since it was too routine, I did not want to hear the story and reject it. Balakrishna is a close friend and I did not want to hurt him.
"I wanted to work with K.S.Ravi Kumar long back and wanted to act in the role of Vijay Kumar with Chiranjeevi in 'Sneham Kosam' but as I will be too young Chiranjeevi did not want me to do it. I never confined myself to act only in lead roles and I'm happy to do important cameos, negative roles, even a aged person character on screen. Only thing is character should be important and I should like it as well."
