'Mahanati' is not just any other super hit at the box office but it has touched the hearts of the audience. The way Nag Aswhin breathed life into the characters by choosing suitable actors has impressed the critics as well. 'Mahanati' has a child Savitri role in the film and a small girl played the role. Though she is a little girl she has impressed everybody with her wonderful acting skills. She is none other than Rajendra Prasad's granddaughter. It is known that Rajendra Prasad played a crucial role as Savitri uncle KV Chowdary in 'Mahanati'. His granddaughter played little Savitri.
When she was asked how she got the opportunity, she said that Nag Aswhin uncle and Swapna aunty sued to visit their house to meet her grandfather and one day she frightened them with her pet dog. Impressed with her activeness, they asked Rajendra Prasad that if they take her for childhood Savitri role. She said that her grandfather agreed to the offer.
When she was asked how did she face the camera for the first time? How did she pull off that character because she didn't have acting experience, she said she doesn't have any fear because she learned it from her grandfather. She said her grandfather regularly acts in some comedy scenes in their home and entertains her and she learned those things from him.
