Had anyone ever anticipated a film in the combination of Rajinikanth and Mahesh Babu? A seasoned producer shocked everybody with the official announcement of a multi-starrer in this unbelievable combination.
U Satyanarayana Babu (Superstar Krishna's brother-in-law) has produced 20 films in Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Krishna's 'Alludu Diddina Kapuram' (1991) is his last flick. He produced films like 'Ram Robert Rahim', 'Annadammula Sawal' and two Hindi projects 'Mera Adalath' & 'Maha Guru'.
During his stay in Ramoji Film City for 'Lingaa', Rajinikanth enquired about the whereabouts of U Satyanarayana Babu. Upon knowing about it, U Satyanarayana Babu and another producer Kethireddy Jagadeeswara Reddy met him in RFC.
Rajini asked 'Cinemalu Theeyadamlede' and Satyanarayana replied 'Mee Producer Ni Kada, Meeru Ok Ante Theeyalane Undi'. Then Superstar promised to work for Padmavathi Productions after his next project with EROS. He even suggested it should like the multistarrer 'Annadammula Sawal' starring him and Krishna in lead roles.
When Mahesh Babu was informed about the proposal, He responded, "Superstar Tho Cheyadam Naaku Happy Ne'.
U Satyanarayana Babu announced pre-production work of the project has begun and it might go on floors by 2015 end or in 2016. He declared the project will be on a grand scale as Superstars were coming together for the first time.
