Distributors of 'Lingaa' breathed a sigh of relief as the makers of the film agreed to settle a portion of the losses incurred by them.
Tirupur Subramaniam who holds the record of such matters successfully has been chosen by Rajini and the Producer to find a solution that's acceptable to both the parties.
Trichy Srither, Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association Joint Secretary, thanked Rajinikanth and Producer Rockline Venkatesh for coming forward to amicable settle the issue.
All the distributors of Tamil Nadu will submit proper accounts of 'Lingaa' collections to Tirupur Subramaniam. Exhibitors will receive refund based on the agreement (Minimum Guarantee or Percentage Basis) signed while acquiring rights.
