Rajni And Kamal Films To Be Banned?
By: Tupaki Desk | 10 April 2018 10:37 AM GMTWell, for any well-informed regular news follower this would be an highly anticipated issue. Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan have been vocal about their political aspirations and this would lead for some setbacks.
Both the actors have raised their voice in favour of Tamil Nadu farmers in the issue of Cauvery river water distribution.
Nadigar Sangam, also sat on protest for one day for which Vijay, Rajni and Kamal have attended along with Suriya, Vishal and Karthi.
Rajnikanth asked Chennai Super Kings, IPL team to wear black bands against RCB to tell their protest. Kamal Haasan aggressively demanded Indian and TN governments to come with a solution for the problem.
Now, Vatal Nagaraju, a Kannada activist, asked distributors to ban Rajni and Kamal films from release in Karnataka. Karnataka distributors are also thinking in the same way as a retaliation.
Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan have good market potential in South states and Bangalore is a major city for their films too. If they issue ban, the actors films Kaala and Viswaroopam 2 could face losses due to lack of recovery from a lucrative Kannada market.
