Tamil Actor Satyaraj has become the talk of the industry these days. Suddenly his comments on Kannada people becoming a big issue, threatening to stop the release of a film like Bahubali2, and following incidents have taken entire industry by surprise. While even fans of the movie said it is unfair to take issue on what an actor said in the heat of the moment long time ago and preventing a film in which he just played a supporting role, Kannada Rakshana Vedike did not care about those and said it is the matter of pride for Kannada people and the actor should apologise for the comments.

At last, Bahubali2 producers and director, S.S. Rajamouli had to intervene in the matter announce public apologies to cool the matter. Still when the matter did not subside, Kattappa, Satyaraj himself came out and gave a clarification on his comments. Well, until today, he had been sitting silent on the issue and denied to apologise for some trivial comments that were made long time ago. But with this apology he helped Bahubali team to release smoothly but he is getting trolled by Rajni Fans like never before.

Going into the details, the actor mocked Rajni nine years ago, when superstar issued a public apology to Kannada people for his choice of words. He said he just wanted to comment on plight of Tamil farmers but did not inflict any other meaning to any community. These comments created an uproar in Tamil Film Industry as the actor's comments were linked to Tamil Pride by then Nadigar Sangam President, Sarath Kumar. At the public meeting arranged by him, Satyaraj said "he would never apologise for talking on behalf of his people and would take any kind of negative or positive reactions in my stride rather than apologising like a coward". Well, today he had to issue a long clarification for his harsh words during that meeting and as they say Karma seems to have got better of the situation.
