No Kabali Effect, Kaala Strikes Jackpot Deal

The latest buzz from the Kollywood suggests that 'Kaala' satellite rights have been acquired by Star TV for whopping Rs.75 crores for three languages including Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Though this price is common for Bollywood biggies, it is very rare for South Indian films. Except 'Baahubali'.. '2.0' no other South film was offered this kind of price for satellite rights. We can say that it is pure Rajini stardom because 'Baahubali'.. '2.0' have a lot of other selling points apart from Rajini.
