Rajinikanth pushes Annaatthe shooting to April!

Superstar Rajinikanth, fondly called Thalaivar by his fans who was supposed to foray into politics took a back step and announced that he will not venture into electoral politics. The Superstar cited his health condition as a reason for this.
Rajini fell ill in December last year, following which, the doctors advised him to take a rest. Given his health condition and doctors' advice, the makers of Annaatthe, Rajini's upcoming film was halted and postponed to March.
As per the earlier planning, the shooting was supported to resume today. However, it is said that Rajinikanth wants to wait for some time to shoot for the film and the makers of Annaatthe have been informed in this regard by the star.
According to the latest update, the 'Annaatthe' shooting will resume in April. It is also said that the makers have agreed to Rajinikanth's request and said they are ok to resume shooting from April.
Tiger Shiva is directing Annaatthe, while Kalanithi Maran is bankrolling the project under the Sun Pictures banner. Meena, Khushbu, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh have been roped in to play female leads. The action drama is slated for Diwali release this year.
