Rajinikanth quit Bad Habits because of HIM

Superstar Rajinikanth has revealed interesting facts in the letter he penned to Senior Actor Siva Kumar (Suriya's Father) on the eve of his 75th Birthday.
Speaking about the association he have with Siva Kumar, Rajini said, 'I have learnt so many life lessons from Siva Kumar during my initial days in the Film Industry. I used to drink and smoke then. He advised me to quit these bad habits if I wish to become a great actor one day. Siva Kumar is a great human being and honest person. I ruined my health with bad habits. Upon taking his advice seriously, I became much stronger mentally and physically. I wish he will have the blessings of God always'.
In films such as 'Kavikooyil' and 'Bhuvana Oru Kelvikuri' released in 1977, Rajini and Siva Kumar shared screen space.
At the age of 65, Rajinikanth is able to shoot for sci-fi film 'Robo 2.0'. Thanks to the valuable advice given by Siva Kumar!
