Rajinikanth is undoubtedly the biggest Superstar of India. The openings for his latest film 'Kabali' proved he could make even the Bollywood Stars stand on their toes. How much did Thalaivar charge for playing the lead role in this Don flick?
As per highly placed sources, Rajinikanth pocketed Rs 50 crore for 'Kabali'. This figure is much less than what he was paid for 'Lingaa'. For the KS Ravikumar directorial, Superstar received Rs 60 crore as his pay package. Seems like, The recent failures have prompted Rajini to slash his remuneration.
Buzz is that Rajini was paid Rs 45 crore for 'Robot' directed by the one and only Shankar.
Taking all these figures into consideration, Rajinikanth might charge nothing short of Rs 50 crore as his remuneration for 'Robot 2.0'.
