Superstar Rajni asks to postpone release

There will be no stopping for Superstar Rajnikanth's film at box office, irrespective of what the release date of the movie. There is no worry even if it is not a holiday season. But now, Rajni himself has requested to postpone his own film's release.
Rajni's "Kabali" is in the last leg of production and currently aiming at an April 2016 release. As the month sees the onset of summer it will be easy to get a mammoth release and openings. However, Tamilnadu assembly elections are also arriving in the same month and for that reason Rajni is requesting producers to postpone the release to May.
Directed by PA Ranjith, Kabali features Rajni as a retired don while Radhika Apte plays his wife, and Dhansika as his daughter.
