Super Star Rajinikanth - Shankar combo is presently working on their latest film '2.o', one of the eagerly awaited films of 2017. The magnum opus made with a staggering 450 crore budget is nearing completion as per the latest update. Director Shankar revealed this information himself on Friday. He tweeted that "With my team after finishing a major scene of '2.o'. One song and some patch work still left" and posted a photograph.
The remaining song will be picturized on the lead pair Rajinikanth..Amy Jackson next month as per the information. '2.o' is the sequel of a super hit film 'Robot' which was released in 2010. Rajinikanth stole the show with double role.. Vasikar - a scientist & Chitti - a robot. Coming to the '2.o', along with Super Star Rajini, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is sharing the screen space by playing the main antagonist role.
Film makers are planning to release '2.o' on the occasion of Diwali 2017. The movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously.
