Superstar Rajinikanth made sensational comments on acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Bharathi Raja.
At the inauguration of Bharathi Raja International Institute of Cinema (BIIC), Rajini said: 'Bharathi Raja spoke to Me only twice in the past 40 years. Once for the call sheets of mine for the movie '16 Yella Vayasu' Tamil Version. The second time was for the inauguration of BIIC. He never said I am a good actor. But, He would always say that I am a good person'.
Rajinikanth claimed he learnt a lot about how an actor should be like on the sets from his mentor K Balachander. He opined Film Institutes given an opportunity for aspiring actors and technicians to learn many aspects of Film Making.
Bharathi Raju lauded the rise of Rajinikanth, who comes from a humble background, to Superstar. He even appreciated the simplicity that Superstar maintains even after achieving so much.
