By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Nov 2018 1:32 PM GMTBox Office records aren't new for Rajinikanth. Most of his new releases end up shattering the old records & sets new benchmarks. With '2.O', He was able to add another feather to his cap.
Rajinikanth forayed into films in the black n white era. All of his films in the beginning days were in that format. Thereafter, He began acting in color films. With 'Kochadaiyaan', Thalaivar became a part of animation movie. And now, '2.O' marked his entry into the 3D Format. He is the only hero in the country to have done films in Black n White, Color, Animation & 3D. Fans proudly claim no other hero in the World Cinema might have achieved this feat. They have realized it only prior to the release of '2.O' and promoting it aggressively on social media.
To act in a full-length 3D Film at the age of 65-plus while facing health issues is no joke. Once Rajinikanth suffered a cut on his leg while shooting for '2.O'. Still, Thalaivar refused to leave the set before completion of the shot. However, Shankar decided to give a break for the shoot taking injury into consideration. Thalaivar received four stitches and it took 1 month for him recover completely. That incident shows the commitment of Superstar!
