Satellite Rights of Raju Gari Gadhi 2 fetched huge

The first horror comedy movie which got good opening collections on the first day is Raju Gari Gadhi 2 which came out as the sequel of Raju Gari Gadhi. The movie is loosely based on Malayalam film Pretham. Because of the star cast, the expectations of the movie are high. As the film is getting positive talk, Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is making decent collections at the box office. Biggest production company PVP Cinema bankrolled this project under the direction of Ohmkar. The recent bride in Tollywood Samantha appeared as a ghost in the film.
Though the collections in overseas are not satisfactory, the movie has been doing well in the duo Telugu states. This horror comedy grossed over Rs. 12 crores in just 3 days after the release. Akkineni Nagarjuna who played an interesting character of a mentalist in the movie stated that even though he was skeptical about the outcome, he is happy with the movie success. Apart from the collections, the producers are making money with the satellite rights too. As per the reports, the satellite rights of movie in Telugu and Hindi added up to Rs. 8 crores.
As the father-in-law and daughter-in-law law duo Samantha Akkineni and Nagarjuna Akkineni shared the screen for the second time after Manam, the movie has fetched huge sum with satellite rights. The positive talk about the film also became a plus point for the movie team.
