Star Hero's Father Sued Actor for 50 crore

Bollywood hero Hrithik Roshn's father and Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has filed a defamation suit against actor Sudhanshu Pandey. Rakesh Roshan and Sanjay Gupta announced that they will be teaming up for a love story-cum-revenge drama featuring Hrithik Roshan. But soon after the announcement they have faced copy allegations.
Last week, TV actor Sudhanshu Pandey pressed Rakesh Roshan with the charges of theft and fraud. Pandey has alleged that the duo stole his script of his film 'Farmayish' for their love story-cum-revenge drama featuring Hrithik which is set to go on floors next month. Sudanshu had filed a complaint with the Indian Film and Television Producers Council (IFTPC) claiming ownership on the script.
However Rakesh Roshan have denied the allegation. Now he has decided to sued Sudhanshu Pandey to the tune of Rs 50 crore on ground of baseless and derogatory statements. Now, an angry Roshan has filed a criminal defamation case against Sudhanshu. A defamation suit was filed in the Andheri Metropolitan Court by Rakesh Roshan’ legal team and demanded 50 crores for the baseless allegations.
