It was the turn of Actress Rakul Preet Singh to appear before the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the Tollywood Drugs Case that traces back to 2017. The actress had appeared before the ED officials on Friday at the Hyderabad branch.
Media reports claimed that the Jaya Janaki Nayaka actress Rakul Preet Singh was questioned by the officials for seven long hours. She reportedly faced 30 questions regarding the case. She was grilled by the officials over her alleged connection with Calvin Mascarenhas, the main accused in the case.
As per the reports, Calvin Mascarenhas's movements and bank transactions were monitored by the ED officials. As part of the probe, the alleged money laundering angle in the drugs case was unearthed reportedly.
