She got a good start in Tamil with Dheeran Adhikaram Ondru with Karthi as lead. The movie released as Khakhee in Telugu.
But Spyder, that released in Telugu and Tamil, with Mahesh did not help her cause at all. Still she has Suriya36 in the direction of Selva Raghavan and two more films in her kitty in Tamil.
Her big Bollywood plans are cut down with her latest Hindi release, Aiyaary disastrous box office performance. The movie debuted with 3.36 crores Nett collection on First day and Overseas also, it just collected 2.28 crores.
This is the weakest film in director Neeraj Pandey's career, who made Baby, MS Dhoni, Special 26 and A Wednesday.
Even Siddharth Malhotra did not have such weak opening in his career. His disasters like Ittefaq and A Gentleman, debuted with better numbers at the box office.
While, Rakul Preet Singh stil has another film with Ajay Devgn in the offing to have a shot at her Bollywood dream, mostly her career seems to be marred due to latest flops.
The chances in Telugu have reduced and the Tamil films, needs to give her respite from continuous disappointments.
