Rakul Preet Opens Up About Sri Devi's Role In NTR Biopic

"I am truly honoured and excited to play the role of Sridevi ji in the film. When I was approached for that role, I asked the makers that if I can do well or not because she is the first Indian female superstar. She was such a fine and legendary actress." Said Rakul. She claimed that she has the responsibility of essaying her role well now. "I was really scared hoping to do justice to the role. But there is a sense achievement as well. Because, if makers thought that I can play her role then, I will give my best for the film," added Rakul while talking at The Wedding Junction Show 2018.
When asked about the ongoing #MeToo movement in India, Rakul said that it's very good that we have started this kind of movement but she thinks that one should draw lines before deciding what is right and what is wrong. She claimed that she fully supports women who are coming out and sharing their stories.
