Insecurity For Bhramaramba? No Way
By: Tupaki Desk | 3 Aug 2017 12:34 PM ISTRakul Preet Singh is saying that she will not agree to the statements that Tollywood makers don't write good characters for heroines. She gave examples of Sridevi 'Kshana Kshanam', Genelia 'Bommarillu', Trisha 'Nuvvostananante Nenoddantana' for her argument. She said the present generation heroines like Sai Pallavi, Nivetha Thomas achieved recognition by doing performance oriented roles. Rakul revealed all these interesting details in a recent interview. When she was asked whether she is feeling insecure because of their success, she came up with a different viewpoint.
She said that "I'm happy to see them getting recognition like that. I'm was mesmerised by Nivetha's acting in 'Ninnu Kori'. I felt that I should get that kind of characters. I came back from London recently. I'll watch 'Fidaa' soon. When this kind of heroines act in Telugu, writers will come up with good stories. Everybody is thinking that they are competition to me. That's not true. I know about my acting capabilities. I know my strengths and weaknesses. If they do a particular character in a certain way, I'll do it in a different way. The no need to feel insecure because everybody will have their own offers. Bhramaramba character in 'Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam' is a good one .. and my role in upcoming 'Jaya Janaki Nayaka' will also show my calibre."
Even though Rakul is saying that she is not insecure, cinema lovers opine that she will have tough competition from heroines like Sai Pallavi, Nivetha Thomas, Keerthy Suresh. They were treated as small heroines earlier but not anymore. They are slowly inching towards stardom. We have to wait and see how Rakul is going to handle this competition now.
