Rakul To Star In This Ambitious Biopic

The ongoing pandemic has stalled the shootings of the films in Tollywood. It remains to be seen when the crisis comes to an end and when it would become normal again!
The latest news from Tollywood film circles is all about the biopic of ace Weight Lifter from Andhra Pradesh- Karanam Malleswari. It is evident that the Biopic trend has surged up down South post the blockbuster success of great actress Savitri's Biopic 'Mahanati'.
Earlier there were speculations around few Sports persons biopic but nothing surfaced again. Now news sources have revealed that Rakul Preet Singh is going to act in this biopic and it's going to be a pan India film with a big scale production. There were rumours then to have Taapsee in this film but that didn't work and hence makers zeroed in Rakul!
It is the makers in MVV Cinema and KFC banners who try things differently to give the present day image for their banner. Rakul if puts on weight she may perfectly suit the role as she has the same fitness levels of an athlete.
It is evident that Karanam Malleswari was treated like a sports daughter of the soil in Andhra. As the trend for biopics is increasing let's see how these makers take the film as a pan India film!
