Ram Charan used to be referred to as one expression actor and a heir, who is unable to live upto the heights of his famous father, Megastar Chiranjeevi.

For a brief period, on social media several fans said Allu Arjun should be considered as the heir of Megastar and his fandom.

Well, Ram Charan just answered to everyone with just one film. No one guessed he could deliver a performance that will even make people overlook seasoned performers like Mahesh and Allu Arjun.

Mahesh delivered a hit with Bharat Ane Nenu but the movie ended up as his biggest grosser but it did not come close to Rangasthalam collections.

Rangasthalam crossed Khaidi No.150 shares and became the third highest grosser ever in Telugu Cinema history after Baahubali series, with Rs.120 cr share collection.

Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya seems to be his first failure after his Iddarammayilatho and the movie is unable to attract families to the theatres who are normally, the actor's core strength.

So, Ram Charan in terms of acting performance and box office performance, silenced all his critics and even moved a step ahead of his competition. Many did not expect him to do so with Sukumar but he did it.
