Ram Charan Made A Fortune From Disney Hotstar Deal?

Disney Hotstar has set out with a motive to expand its footprint down south and has devised a promising plan to attain the same. The OTT giant has roped in Tollywood superstar Ram Charan as its brand ambassador for the Twin Telugu states - Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Charan has even shot for a TV commercial for Disney Hotstar and the same was unveiled later in the day yesterday. "Vinodame ikkada mana sontham! Blockbuster Movies, Telugu Hotstar Specials, Sports and so much more! Swagatam palukutondi #ManaVinodaVishwam @DisneyPlusHS,' Ram Charan wrote as he shared the Disney Hotstar ad featuring him. It is very much evident that Hotstar has decided to spend big on marketing and publicity over the next few months.
Coming to the topic, Ram Charan has apparently made a fortune by coming on board as the brand ambassador for Disney Hotstar. Nothing is officially announced till not but reports are suggesting that Charan has pocketed to the tune of Rs 5 - 6 crores for endorsing Disney Hotstar. As a part of this big-money deal, Charan will have to actively promote Disney Hotstar over the next year or so. Also, he will be projected as the face of the OTT platform. Charan will also be shooting a few more ads in the due course. Notably, Charan has struck a greatly rewarding deal with Disney Hotstar and this could well be the biggest endorsement deal in Tollywood to date.
Ram Charan is expected to attain pan-India superstardom with RRR and his reach will grow multi-fold post the release of the Rajamouli directorial. Disney Hotstar would have analyzed the same before spending a whopping amount on signing Charan as their ambassador. If Ram Charan does indeed turn a nation-wide star with RRR, his image could help Disney Hotstar big time and that is exactly what the OTT giant would be hoping for.
Meanwhile, Charan's cousin Allu Arjun is already on board for Aha Video. He actively promotes the Allu Aravind-led platform and is even setting up a couple of projects for the same. It is interesting to see Allu Arjun and Ram Charan endorsing two different OTT platforms.
