Ram Charan is presently doing a film in the direction of Sukumar. This film has completed its schedule in April and the filmmakers are planning to release the movie in the Dussehra season. We don't know whether it is possible or not but, there is clarity on Cherry's next project.
There was a talk sometime back that Ram Charan is teaming up with legendary director Mani Ratnam after the completion of Sukumar film. Ever since Mani Ratnam's 'Cheliya' became a dud at the box office there were reports in the media that the project got shelved. But reality is completely different. Mani Ratnam is busy finalizing the story. Mani sir said to have recently given full length narration to Cherry. Cherry was impressed with the story and gave his nod to prepare final script. This movie will go to the sets immediately after wrapping up Sukumar film. 'Yodha' title is being considered for this film as per the buzz.
Ram Charan is not a person who go by the flops and hits. He gave chances to several directors when they were in flops. 'Govindudu Andarivaadele' to Krishna Vamsi.. 'Bruce Lee' to Srinu Vaitla.. 'Dhruva' to Surender Reddy are the examples. So, Charan will surely work with Mani Ratnam despite of 'Cheliyaa' failure.
