What convinced Charan to go with him?
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Nov 2017 10:08 AM GMTRam Charan Tej and Megastar Chiranjeevi are not very easy to please people. Many Filmi persons from Industry do say this. They are extremely cordial and friendly but they when it comes to story discussions and accepting to work with someone, they only agree when they are 100% confident and sure. So, they screen them a lot and once they decide to believe them then they don't normally leave them high and dry.
Why are we saying all this now? Surrender Reddy is not the kind of director who is easily expected to make a movie like Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Some experienced person or a director like SS Rajamouli is more expected to do such films. But he got the chance. What convinced Chiranjeevi and Charan? Charan explained why and he said, "One evening when we were touring America for Dhruva promotions, I asked Suri (Surrender Reddy) what he would be doing next? He said, he wants to develop a story for my father, Chiranjeevi garu. Asked me, if I can arrange a meeting."
He continued, "I like his dedication and work culture, so I asked father if he wants to meet Suri. He was listening to Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy story from Paruchuri brothers and from a decade they have been trying to find a correct person to hand the film. Father accepted to meet Suri and he talked to him for about two hours. He decided to give Suri the film. I am thrilled and happy with Suri's inclusion. He changed the script considerably and to whomever I meet, they ask me to tell some scene or story of the film. They get excited and ask when they can see it on screen."
