Talk Of Town: Ram Charan's Stand On Collections!
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 May 2018 2:42 PM GMTRam Charan was appointed as the brand ambassador of HAPPI Mobiles. On this occasion, He patiently answered the questions being raised during the interaction with media persons.
A Member from the gathering congratulated Ram Charan for success of 'Rangasthalam' and it's gross touching Rs 200 crore-mark. And then, He asked the Mega Hero if the display of numbers/collections on the posters is a healthy trend in the Industry.
In reply, Ram Charan admitted not having a good feeling with the way public has been reacting to the numbers projected by Producers. 'Any Producer tries to give right figures but how people receive it isn't in our hands. Sometimes, I get the feeling if we are bringing a negative vibe by projecting figures why because the way people interpret them at times could be different. To avoid any such negativity, I will request all My Producers not to place numbers on my film posters. How many people had come to theatres is more important than figures? There will be more satisfaction if people appreciate our film whenever we go. Numbers can't give such happiness. So, I took a stand never to display numbers again to avoid unnecessary controversies. We (all the actors) are all very good friends. We wish to see our fans be like friends. As Actors, We should take a backstep to maintain healthy competition,' he said.
