Ram Gopal Varma admits getting the thought of making a biopic like Lakshmi's NTR while having a conversation with Balakrishna as he felt such shocking facts has to be narrated. According to Varma, A Biopic should have a strong conflict point. The actual story in NTR's life began only after the entry of Lakshmi Parvathi.
There is an impression that RGV wouldn't have made Lakshmi's NTR had if Balakrishna didn't replace him with either Teja or Krish for NTR Biopic. 'May be, I wouldn't have filmed this angle. Why because Balayya wouldn't have offered his consent as a Producer had if I directed NTR Biopic,' he says.
Varma felt believable factor went missing in 'NTR Kathanayakudu' and 'NTR Mahanayakudu'. He added, 'Had if I directed it, I would have restricted the Two Parts to 1 hour and focussed more on Lakshmi Parvathi Episode'.
What if Lakshmi's NTR was banned in AP, RGV opined: 'Even a Chief Minister has to follow the legal process. I have good understanding about it. Took up this project after studying all the aspects'.
Varma believes Balayya hasn't reacted on Lakshmi's NTR so far as he mayn't have taken it seriously.
Ramu clarified Lakshmi’s NTR isn’t a hero-villain kind of film but about the relation between NTR-Lakshmi Parvathi. He is confident that nobody could stop the release of the biopic. ‘I kept the whole content in a hard disk. If anything happens to him, I had written a letter asking for uploading the content in the hard disk on YouTube,’ he revealed.
