Like him or hate him, you cannot ignore him! Ram Gopal Verma makes sure that no one takes him lightly. He either posts a mean comment or sarcastically praises someone to the scaling heights. He can never go out of out sites, ever.

Recently, he made Sankar 3 with Amitabh Bachchan but the movie ended up being another disaster and a bad sequel to Sarkar franchise. Now, he is foraying into web media with a web-series, titled Guns and Thighs.

The trailer released on 26th of May and the bold content with crude delivery promised old RGV could be coming out tearing the masks of shrewd and corrupted version of his. Their is pure grit, visual sense to the story telling in this one. Promised for a 4 seasons and 10 episodes each ride, one hopes what the trailer promises is delivered to us, the audience.

Ram Gopal Verma also surprised many with stark nude scenes in his drama based on Mumbai Mafia. The social media does have divided opinion of the portrayal of such nude content in an Indian web series but many are welcoming his improved version from his latest movies.

The director explained why he decided to make a web-series in a series of tweets,

"The title is derived as a synonym of how Power and Sex affect the internal politics of ambition, ego and greed

The story of the entire series of GUNS and THIGHS is something I have gathered over many years with my extensive interactions with ex gangsters to encounter cops to middlemen of the underworld to victims's relatives and so on.

Some in the know might feel that I have dealt with this subject matter in my earlier films like SATYA and COMPANY but nothing could be further from the truth. That's because in those films, I barely scratched the surface of the truth of the Mafia's underbelly due to my inconclusive knowledge at that time and also due to various restrictions, but here in this series I decided to tell it the way it is."
